My computer tells me I shut down wrongly everyday no matter how I shut it down so I don't listen to it anymore. Hi Jean et all, You have my sympathy ! In addition to a reluctance to shut down mine has developed 2 new tricks when booted up. 1) A message appears saying my video card wasn't recognised 2) The icons appear on a white background with a blue link saying "Restore Active Desktop" 3) When I click the link everything works normally On odd occasions I'm prompted to load Windows in safe mode ...........
