Hi, Winnipeg reminded of a time in the 1950s when I got itchy feet when I saw an advertisement for miners which was what I did at that time. I applied to some proprietary company and they sent me the papers saying my experience was what they were looking for. I read them and then approached my wife who shot it down immediately. Apparently the location was Northern Manitoba, the only way in was by light aeroplane and we got two weeks back in Winnipeg every six months. We were guaranteed a log cabin to ourselves and the ore was I think lead. I really fancied that job.
