Hi All On the subject of old photos, there's a classic 1880 ( we think ) photo of my Great Grandmother and 4 children on my family history website - not finished and probably never will be ! It's gallery 1 from the Picture Gallery link. This is a "tin plate" photo of about 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 " depicting my great grandmother and 4 children. We think that we are looking at 4 boys , despite the dress of the child on gg's lap. This puts the picture as pre 1881. There's also a picture of "the Oracle" and her only surviving brother and sister from a family of 16. We currently know only 13 children , but we're working on the other 3 at £6.50 a guess !
