    3. After reading recently some discussion about digital still cameras and noting that some are quite satisfied with the performance of quite low resolution and therefore cheap cameras for ordinary snap photography and indeed copying of original documents I have been looking at cameras in catalogues. If I go into a shop I usually end up paying more than I had intended. I've sorted out the following: - JENOPTIC 350 £99.50 350,000 pixels MPEG movie 8 Mb internal memory --- LCD display --- Optical viewfinder --- Fixed focus lens --- Auto exposure --- Flash with auto, fill, off and red eye reduction modes --- 10-second self timer --- Tripod mount --- Serial or USB interface (cables supplied) --- Complete with batteries, case and imaging software. £119 for above with 28 fps video mode. Kodak EZ 200 £99 640X480 pixcel resolution. Internal memory stores up to 128 pictures. Capture 10 second video clips. Make live video conferencing calls. Create personalised video with audio. Burst capture. USB connectivity. Polaroid Photomax. 640 £129.99 640X480 pixcel 1.8 inch colour LCD display monitor 2Mb internal memory Built in flash Includes photo editing software and cables to make a complete digital imaging kit. I know very little about the digital photography but I appreciate the different quality that people require but I want a bog standard camera which will give 'snap' quality pictures with *perhaps* the added facility of producing digital copies of original documents. I will value any discussion about these particular cameras because I want to be as sure as is humanly possible that I don't buy a white elephant. I have in the past had a surfeit of white elephants.
