Hi Pauline Welcome ! There are 58 Ettenfields listed on the IGI ( ttp://www.familysearch.org ) - 3 or 4 are Manchester latest being 1851. Might be worth a look. There are 7 Ettenfields on http://freebmd.rootsweb.com including a couple from Salford. I take it you haven't found your grandparents marriage , which should give you their fathers names ? I've got quite a bit of info on the Leggott side, (found to my surprise that they were originally from Lincs), but am having difficulty with the ETTENFIELD's.
