    3. This was received from, either a lunatic or a very disturbed person we tried to help: " What is this obsession with rootsweb listers, about condescending and pretending people are begging you for "help" when they obviously neither need nor ask it? does it make you feel on top of the situation, to look down on anyone that passes you by?... I came to the list for some friendly mail, to help who I can, who wants it...or make exchanges of information on subjects of mutual interest, pickiing up I hope news on my lines of research, not my entire pedigree, but the lines I mentioned: a reliable list for advice? these attacks are your idea of advice from a reliable list? Ray's attacks are your idea of setting something straight.. he himself admits that he at least is not ignorant of a number of precedents; that he choose to discount the credibility of some of the sources is his business... anyone who had treed any further than the end of their nose, knows that not all sources are of the same sort & people are free to accept or not many of them... the Bible seems good enough to swear on in a court of law; it's historical affirmations have been born out countless times by archeological researchers... and in fact, you can accept it or not, but you have no right whatsoever, no matter who you are, to attack or accuse of fraud, anyone for using it, or another source... While I can certainly in no case be accused of fraud for having gotten there before you did, it is in fact a crime passable in court of law, to defame publicly with unfounded accusations of fraud, anyone you feel an itch to dump on... who knows why... If you don't buy the line, don't use it! It's not your line anyway, mind your own veracity... As I have pointed out to another friend, the last fellow who dumped on me like that (because I stumbled on a royals line before he had any, so he said it was bad genealogy to have royals line) immediately ran out and built himself so many royals lines (they're real; I told him where to look for some of them) he had to stop giving blood because it was turning blue... He'll probably act the same about the Adam line (like these folks) just because I got there first... (upstaged by a woman! Arrggghhh!) but will doubtless have 20 Adam lines within 6 months, as I suppose Ray will, now that he thinks about it... That he knows the historical basis of the lines cited is far from negligeable, yet attacks me publicly rather than apologizing publicly, is hardly to his credit, but one musn't expect too much from mere men... & probably mostly means that like most elitists (GOONS generally are) he doesn't want too many people to get the idea of looking for such lines, because then his will be less unique... which of course is true... it's easy for me to be generous, because I was the first kid on my block to have one... after which, the only pleasure left to wring out of it, is to share it.... unless one has the unfortunate idea of sharing it with a bunch of nasty boors & sour grapes... but then, I know there are a lot of other folks out there who're interested and amused by the idea, and not such ignorant boors as to try to make up for not having thought of it first, by attacking it as fraudulent, all in knowing quite well (if he's as knowledgeable as he should be in his position, he should recognise all the main lines; they're well enough known amongst initiates...) that it's far from fraudulent, but a brilliant piece of work, if I do sayso myself, since you're too mean to do so. Now, let's just forget about it. It's not what I'm researching on; Just Coppocks will do...or the other maternal lines, like Coate, Coulson, Cox ... etc " Make up your own minds. 3. Hi Brian, This does indeed seem to be from a "disturbed" person but I am at the moment reading a book called "the Royals" by kitty keller " banned in this country by people who hold the same kind of arrogance / attitudes , take no notice of them, they are on their way out, blue blood may have meant something when people were illiterate but it does'nt mean squish now.
