I have "The Red Balloon" on a video - made it from BBC2 a couple of years ago. My grandchildren love it, and so do I. Especially the Music. There are only about three words spoken it it. 1956, I think. Made me want to go to Montmartre, and it's still just like that today! I remember his stories as well. He always looked like a happy looking granddad with his glasses perched on the end of his nose. Wasn't he also in "Never mind the quality feel the width " ? Think his son was Paul Kassof. Best wishes Angela
Speaking of houses for sale, does anyone know if the system to buy council houses still exists. We are thinking about this, because mum and dad have had a council house for 45 years and they took it on after my Grandparents died. I thought if we had the chance to buy it, it would be an investment for the future when all the children hopefully go on to University in the UK. Best wishes Angela Cyprus
Naughty Marion, and there you were up on a pedestal for a while :) At least you're honest......... Best wishes Angela Cyprus
Dave, I do not want to go through that again, like yesterday. I'm sticking to Netscape, although when I switched back I'd lost all my inbox, where it went I'll never know. All my BDM links were there. I kept on getting error with server whenever I went to send the message to the list, so I gave up and switched back. When I finally fixed the problem with start-up where that nasty virus does it's damage, I find that the message went after all. I can't understand why I can't send from Outlook and receive with Netscape. Anyway everyone, please rest assured that I am well protected after buying the AVG professional version. Best wishes Angela Cyprus
