    2. Jean White
    3. Not only that but now many of the homeless people on the streets are these former patients. My brother-in-law in Toronto used to run halfway houses for former mental patients. They had their own rooms in small apartment buildings. Live in staff were available to help when needed. When the present Conservative government got in Ontario the government grants were discontinued and the halfway houses disappeared. My brother-in-law found another job so he was ok but I often wondered what happened to all those people in the houses. I have seen homeless people in Toronto sleeping on the streets in below zero (Fahrenheit) weather. No wonder every year some freeze to death. There is no excuse for this in the Western world. Cost me £6 for a photocopy, but it was worth it. Problem was, I wanted the song version in the key of F, because I didn't want to learn something new. 3. I ask myself this question often Maggie - only been here just over a year, came from Pakistan where I spent a few years. It all began in the 80's in London......................... I am in Jeddah what about your friend? Yesterday a car bomb exploded in Riyadh - a British couple - the husband died in hospital, the wife was not injured but has suffered serious breakdown. I hope this is not the start of another anti-Brit/USA campaign I had my share of this in Pakistan where I lived almost on the Indian border. After The Great Flood all is drying up. A flash flood in a Wadi near here yesterday killed a family of seven - this doesn't happen often but you cannot escape apparently -a wall of water over 10ft just 'appears' - a bit like the Severn Bore I guess. Knowing Bedouins never camp in a valley area always higher, whatever the weather. It is said if you can see the water coming it is too late. Normally it's around 40c daily higher in the Summer - humidity often 100% - electricity is cheap so it's AC's always. 3. Can anyone help me with this unimportant little problem? I have suddenly discovered that my "FREECELL" game will no longer let me play. The Name FREECELL in the top left hand corner is all corrupted and looks like another alphabet. When I try to play, the little hour glass won't go away and won't let me move any of the cards. I am doing these in numerical order. There are 32,000 puzzles and I am only up to number 126. Please help. 3. I agree about Charlotte's voice but she is young yet. I know Dad would have disapproved of a young voice singing some of that repertoire in the grounds it might cause serious damage to her voice. I thought she was best in the church music as it suited her voice better. I have not heard of the your tenor. Maybe I should put him on my Christmas list too. My husband wants a Noel Coward CD. Not much chance of finding one in Halifax. At one store the clerk had never heard of him and the other store did not have any by him. I will ask my sister in law in Toronto to get one. 3. No, I haven't been out, nor asleep, but I have been putting all my family details back onto the program from the Latter Day Saints, Personal Ancestral File 4, which I downloaded last night. It is a wonderful program, given free, and if you want to you can put your stuff on line on a GEDCOM file. It is ALMOST idiot proof, not like my FamilyTree Maker which lets you get muddled if, like mine, your grandmothers were both married three times to men with the same names. 3. "The Continental" in Wallasey was a lovely little cinema where they showed quite cultural films. the first time Don and I went out together (on our own) we went to see "Aida" there, with Sophia Loren, I think, playing the title role, but not singing, of course! One of the nice things about the cinema was that they served coffee in proper cups and saucers in the interval. We had to take the Ferry 'Cross the Mersey to get there. 3. Hi Marged, No, I got the CD for this programme from a magazine and later found it free to all on their Website. I have found it to be easy, (as simple as me) and thorough. I too will buy when my taker allows, remembering of course that the old joke was "Take me to you leader", now it has become, "Lead me to your taker", in my case anyway.
