Well, it's not getting the chance now (to get through to your other addresses) because I've deleted them and have only got your aol address. Of course, every time I press the reply button, it comes up Northern, doesn't it! Never thought of that. I'll have to make sure I've got you on the address book. I remember when I got married the Church Choir gave us a big collection of Pyrex, and we were thrilled to bits. The brides of today seem to have much more luxurious items on their wedding lists! Hi Penny - I've just gone on aol because I couldn't get onto Yahoo and I was saying to Marged that my mail got to aol long before it got to Yahoo. My brother has a farm at Childers [ where they had that horrific back packers fire]. He grows sugar cane, snow peas and Roma tomatoes. From May to Oct he had only half an inch of rain , The dams were so low that they were not even allowed to use their full quota of irrigation water. In mid Oct they had 4 inches in one night. Washed out all new plants. The joys of farming. By the way the cane is usually harvested from June to Dec and his small crops from Feb to Nov. It is late Spring over here now.. Cheers Delphine in not so sunny Brisbane, but not as wet as Sydney.
What was David Kossoff's son's name? I have a CD of Bread's music (if it's the same group; very popular here in the 70s) that I absolutely love! A Kentucky Fried Chicken and a six-pack of Bud. What do you call someone who speaks three diferent languages?.... Multilingual. What do you call someone who speaks two languages?.... Bilingual. What do you call someone who speaks one language?.... An American. Why don't American's eat jelly?.... They can't work out how to get a pint of water into those little packets.
