    3. Hi Danny, BDE is a data base program engine which the transcribe volunteers of mlfhs have been using on the 1891 census. It is much larger than I supposed. 3. Brian B... When I open TranCens I get a message saying an error occurred when trying to initialise the Borland Database Engine (error $210 A) I presume that I have corrupted BDE in my re- format. I've now downloaded BDE 5.11 (1 hr) only to find that I need the old program so I'll have to look for that in the cheap period tonight. I'd be interested in any comments. Do you know the web address where we originally downloaded Trancens from. That would be another approach. If I get a problem then I will try that but I understand from friends on aol that it happens when you visit certain sites but you can report it and it usually gets stopped. 3. Will some kind soul please tell me how to scan a file I want to send by e-mail. I notice on the bottom of my e-mail there is a note stating "File has not been scanned" - how can I scan my own file? I am glad it says this, but it is stopping me from sending JPEG files! This note does not appear if I select "Insert" from above, and send for the file, but when it arrives it is too big to send! Thanks folks. 3. Course yer can Penny. I've never had a recipe for your American pot roast, but I've heard lots of people raving on about it. My slow cooker though is very small, a remnant from the days when there was only the 2 of us. I could always do it in the village oven though, if you can send me the recipe, I'd appreciate it. BTW lunch today is courgettes, onions, garlic in tomato sauce, with rice or chips and maybe I'll fry some eggs as well. Best wishes Angela Cyprus

    3. Hi, My daughter got AOL because her business only messaged out to the AOL...she has ended up with a huge influx of porn material. I think she has finally decided to change, though, because they were paying for two, the one for her and one for her husband. She just deleted the porn and it eventually lessened, though did not come completely to a stop. I asked someone about this and they told me that it was common on AOL. Take care, Glenda
