    3. Hi Brian, Buffalo nearly became extinct before they finally decided to stop the killing of them. Now there are many large herds in many places across the west and some places in the mid-west. There are not nearly the large herds as there were so many years ago. They are a hardy beast ! The Buffalo is on the Wyoming state flag. Regards, Glenda >Hi Glenda, > >I've just been watching a TV programme about the building of the railway in >Wyoming. It showed a herd of buffalo three miles wide and ten miles long. >It is impossible to imagine. I don't suppose you see many buffalo now? > >Brian B >Lancashire, UK. >Seasons Greetings to all

    3. Merry Christmas Anne, Your little "Charlie" reminds me of the time we had our black Lab pup named "Bear" who had everything toppled over, torn up, plus the phone was all chewed up and when we saw what all had happened...she just "smiled" at us and wagged her tail merrily ! - didn't even have the decency to act guilty ! Florida doesn't normally have snow, either. Regards, Glenda >Marion, how right you are, my christmas present, a pure white kitten >"Charlie" has demolished our beautiful tree. 3. Dear Marged & Brian, Of the many statements made about Christmas, one I have always valued comes from President Calvin Coolidge: "Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas." Best wishes to you both at this remembering & reminding time. Regards, Mikey. Spectemur Agendo.

    1. Re: [NTH-ENG] OUR BELIEFS
    2. And what about the not celebrating of Christmas in some schools for fear of 'upsetting' other religions. We must be the daftest people in the world for allowing that to happen. I think that is absolutely appalling. Maggie
