    3. Hi Maggie, Hope that you had, 1) a lovely birthday, 2) a fantastic Christmas, That is the best thing to do with any attachment, ask the sender before opening as then you can prevent Virus attacks and that helps everyone else. 1. [NTH-ENG] Long e-mails
    2. Brian B
    3. Because I realised I had not replied to someone who was waiting for information I went on line at peak time and, having sent my message, spent eleven minutes trying to download a rather long e-mail or one with a large attachment. Then my PC disconnected leaving the message on the server. I do wish people would not do this without warning and I don't know who it was because it caused my PC to crash. I assume it is too late to stop it because it will be on my server LURKING, waiting for me to try again. So, even though I do sometimes log on for a "quicky" during the day, this now means I can't do a thing until tonight - except to send this and quickly log off unless I want to spent another hour or so [it was message 8 of 11 which caused the problem] on line. Very annoying. Brian B Lancashire, UK. [email protected] http://www.gortonian.com --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free - checked by AVG anti-virus system .
