    3. Must be a connection with New Years and Chicken Pox. My older daughter came out with them New Years Eve, 1980. Her younger sister got them two weeks later. We spent a month unable to go anywhere. Lots of Benadryl used to get rid of the itch too. Nothing like starting off with a bang! My sympathies. 3. Too all who are interested, the BBQ went well and no Tweety, weather was very warm, still around 20C at 2.00am this morning, when much to the kids disgust, their father and I told them to turn off the music. Is there only so much of "Jimmy Barnes" that you can take at that time of the morning, Especially when they start to murder "Khe San" (Any Cold Chisel fans will know what I am talking about). 3. Me too! A very happy New Year to all - it is 11.56 p.m. here in Brisbane Australia and I have just come home from a very good street party organized by my children - it was warming - just a couple of minutes to go here - today was my mother's birthday and had she lived just a couple of more years she would have made it! Dear me I miss my kith and kin who have gone - Happy Millennium - cheers Rosa. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Sunday, 31 December 2000 10:41 Subject: Re: [NTH-ENG] Happy New Year Everybody >Hi all, > >Just in case I don't get online again today may I wish you and yours a very >Happy New Year and may 2001 be your best year ever. > >Maggie > > >==== NORTHERN-ENGLAND Mailing List ==== >Visit the lists Pulse Page here, >http://212.19.69.91/north/ >

    2. Hi Rosa - yes there is something about the New Year that does that to me too. My father would have been 100 last January 13th and my mother would have been 100 on March 30th this year. Wish she had made it as she only died 3 years ago. They were in their late 40s when they adopted me as a baby - must have been a shock to the system for a childless couple but they survived ....lol Happy New Year to you and yours, Maggie
