Is this usual? Your certificate only states where the death happened (address) and the Registration District in which it took place. It has nothing to say about where the burial took place, or when. If you look the death up on FreeBMD, and follow the link for Loddon, you will discover that Loddon encompasses some 42 parishes, of which hales is just one. I think you'll need to investigate what's available on the FreeREG site, which, in time, will include your Hales parish and be the means of identifying dates of death. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg
