    2. Michael Allbrook
    3. I believe he was killed in the fighting at the Quarries (Hulluch). There is a lot of information available through Googling which I mention because I have not personally heard of this action before Michael Allbrook -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of elizabeth howard Sent: 28 February 2014 16:13 To: [email protected] Subject: [NFK] CYRIL WALKER Hi , and thanks for this and yes everyone was most helpful so that we can confirm once and for all that Cyril Walker was indeed the son of Arthur and Emma and born 1895 and KIA in Oct 1915 . He was as Nivard has said, 7th Bttn Norfolk Regt and I am now moving forward toward the end of the back story of each of these men, and will then find their dates of enlistment if poss, and their place of death more specific than France and Flanders. I`ll try to find the war diaries to see where the 7th Bttn were in Oct 1915.......it will give us a clearer idea of their lives.... I have now sorted Percy Eagle as being the son of Arthur and Martha originally of Massingham, but later when Percy joined of the Swan Hotel Downham and his younger brother Albert George who served but survived took the Rose and Crown in 1918 at Hilgay which is where the letter from Mrs Eagle ,enquiring after Percy`s death came from . I think that anchors Percy . Now to unravel the lives of Lot Fincham`s family ........ > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the > quotes in the subject and the body of the message > ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
