Funny but we always called "Mare's Tails" "Cat Tail" and that was impossible to get rid of! I remember helping my Dad once and we dug and dug along one root and it went for yards and yards! Worse than digging up stinging nettles! It is such a shame that I am probably in the last generation to talk with a real Norfolk accent because it is being so watered down.
