Have heard this before about the PF Site...... My house master at Wymondham College was stationed at Bircham Newton in WWII and when I ppaid a return visit to the place to sort out my sister's problems there (after our mother died) he and I wer talking and I mentioned my interest in folk music and dance with trference to step dancing he was full of how the farm workers went to the pub on a Saturday and danced. Nothing to do with dialect but interesting all the same. David Why did that comew to mind I wonder?
