Hi Pam, Yes, I should have given the source, although I'm not sure that it helps. The reference is in the 1851 census for Sarah Wilson, daughter of John & Sarah Wilson of Inkerson Fen, Sutton St Edmunds. Sara was 9 years old and born, according to the image, at Bartle Fen, Norfolk. The image is reasonably clear. Others have sugggested Stow Bardolph and it must be a possibility. However, the list goes: John (father) 35 born Leverington, Cambs Sarah (wife) 32 born Emneth. John 11 born at Parson Drove. Sarah 9 born at Bartle Fen Joseph 7 born at Murrow Mary born at Murrow Emma born at Murrow. Stow Bardolph seems very out of sequence, but stranger things keep turning up in family history. The reference is Piece 2097, Folio 84, Page No 16. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions. Shall continue to search. Marjorie
