Hi Veneita, The marriage that most matches that is George Stevens to Hannah E Carruthers in Jul-Sep 1912 in the Pontypridd registration district. You can confirm or exclude that by looking at your father or mother's (as appropriate) birth in FreeBMD http://www.freebmd.org.uk/ and checking the mother's maiden name. Then you either need that marriage certificate or get on a Glamorgan list and see if the records are available anywhere. But the chances are you will end up having to get the marriage certificate. Then you can search for your grandfather giving his father's name. I am wondering how you know your grandfather's birth year. Is it through family lore or is it just possible you have some info you haven't told us? Veneita There are two George Stevens in the 1911 census with a sister Dorothy - they are in 1. Steyning, Sussex parents George and Nancy - George 1892 born Fishergate, Sussex and Dorothy Portslade, Sussex. and 2. Edmonton, Middlesex parents George and Ruth - George 1892 born Wimbledon and Dorothy born Kilburn. Can send details if required.
