Just because Samuel was said to have been from Yarmouth, doesn't necessarily mean that he born in Yarmouth. That could just be where his ship was ordinarily to be found. He could have been born anywhere along the east coast. Having said that, FreeREG <http://www.freereg.org.uk> has four baptisms of the surname, three of which took place in Great Yarmouth in the mid to late 1730's.
