Have you got a drove name as well Marjorie? There were Bartles at Pymoor/Oxlode but cant find a Fen named for them-some of the names for smaller fens seem to sort of fall out of use or change . Who was the ancestor-if we can find a name cluster we might be able to narrow down the location. Could it be nearer Fleet/Gedney ? I cant see it on the maps I have got but that means nothing!
