To all those that answered my plea for someone to claim James Carver and his family of Swardeston and surrounding area, I’m pleased to say that the descendants have been found still in the Norwich area. John was born in Intwood with Keswick in 1887 and was KIA in 1918, leaving behind a wife, Cecily, and 4 young daughters. He is remembered on both the Newton Flotman and Mulbarton WW1 memorials, and on the latter, his nephew is also named. My thanks to all with their suggestions, Mike Wilkinson
