    3. Julie, apologies if Ive read your reply in a manner in which it was not written. Im afraid I totally agree with Pam. While the Norfolk listers are, in my opinion, amongst the most helpful and friendly people on the web, do we really need to be inundated with out of area queries. The original query makes no suggestion that its a Norfolk related family. They may well be born or have died in Norfolk, but the only information that we have been given is a marriage in Newcastle, which last time I looked was a long long walk from Norfolk. Perhaps if the OP made it more clear if its a Norfolk family that may have helped. With regards to the question of if all of Pams relatives come from Norfolk, I suspect that not all of them do. However, Im pretty sure that she would aim non-Norfolk queries at a more appropriate source of information. Apologies for the soap box stance, I mean no offence :( On 20/04/2014 09:02, Julie Armiger wrote: > So do all your relatives come from Norfolk then? > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Pam Downes > Sent: Sunday, 20 April 2014 4:26 PM > To: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [NFK] Robert Watson > > While I'm sure people don't mind helping, shouldn't these Watson queries be > sent to the Northumbria list rather than the Norfolk one? > http://lists.rootsweb.ancestry.com/index/intl/ENG/NORTHUMBRIA.html > > Pam > > > > On 20/04/2014 07:30, Julie Armiger wrote: >> Hi Listerines, >> >> >> >> Can anyone help me in finding birth dates/parents etc for Robert >> Watson & Margaret Sheriff who were married on 10/7/1808 at All Saints >> Church,Newcastle -upon-Tyne? >> >> >> >> Thank you, >> >> >> >> Mike Armiger in Adelaide >> >> >> ------------------------------- > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes > in the subject and the body of the message > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > -- Many Thanks Penny Blake [email protected]
