Seeking any connections/information regarding the Thompson family of Norwich, Norfolk. Earliest Thompson I can find thus far is Thomas Thompson, who was born around 1799/1800 or so in Norwich. Unclear of his origins and parentage at this stage. Thomas married Elizabeth Livock in St. Edmund, Norwich on 5 April 1821. Thomas was a saddle maker/saddler by profession. It appears Thomas and Elizabeth were at one point living in Heigham and also living in All Saints, Norwich. Thomas and Elizabeth's children include Frederick Henry Thompson (my ancestor), who was baptised July 1821 in St. Savour's, Norwich. Frederick Henry Thompson married Jane Rosetta Browne, in 1841 in Norwich. Their children included Thomas Henry Thompson (my ancestor) - born 1856/57 approx in Lynn, Norfolk. He married Florence Nightingale Rigby in 1877 in Norwich. Of their children, my ancestor, Thomas Arthur Thompson was born in 1877 in Norwich. He maried Ellen Broome in 1898 in Norwich.
