Is there some kind person who could please check the original parish registers for Calthorpe and Colby (not the Archdeacon’s Transcripts, which are incomplete) for any TILLET(T)/FILLET(T)/SILLET(T) baptisms, marriage or burials for the years 1733 to 1755? I know there is baptism for a Thomas TILLET in Calthorpe in 1738 (although this is mis-transcribed by FreeReg as SILLET) and also a baptism for a Matthew TILLET in Colby in 1750. The parents would be Joseph and Martha TILLET (nee STAMP), who married in Bannningham in 1732 and had one child, John, baptised there in 1733. Many thanks, Gerry

Gerry, I can't help with your question but I suffer from the reverse problem - Tilletts who might be Silletts. If you had any Tillett references you doubt, I might be able to say whether they are Silletts or not.
