    3. Can anyone help? A query on behalf of a Brackenbury cousin who is not in the web: Albert G. Brackenbury whose birth was registered in the Mutford district of Suffolk in 1913 was a son of Frederick William and Blanche Brackenbury. Albert became a seaman and is known to have married a Jane Wylie in 1935 in Liverpool and had a daughter Catherine (Blanche) Brackenbury born in Liverpool in 1936. Albert later disappeared without a trace and none of the family know what happened to him! He had a brother, Frederick, who went to New Zealand and some of the family speculated that Albert may have followed Fred and others suggest he may have been lost at sea. If anyone has any information about Albert we would be glad to hear from you and pass it on. Thanks, Sheila

    3. I found an Albert Brackenbury marrying Miss Mavis Knopka in Boilup, Western Australia in July 1936. http://trove.nla.gov.au/ndp/del/article/212737362?searchTerm=albert%20brackenbury&searchLimits=l-decade=193 It may not be the right person but who knows? He wouldn't be the first seaman to have jumped ship. You would probably need to get the marriage certificate from Western Australia to see if the ages match, if nothing else. After that, the Australian Electoral Rolls on Ancestry.com.au may have something unless they were in South Australia in which case there won't be anything (they aren't online). You should also look for more articles in the newspapers in Trove (see link above).
