Hi Linda If you look at Sarah/Elizabeth Forster baptisms in Middleton, in January 1820 and October 1821, there are a couple of choice comments! I saw several baptisms in mid 1700s as "child by chance" . At first, just for a moment, I thought that Mr Chance had been a busy lad! I soon realized that it was the vicars comment for a child to a single mother..
