    3. Opinions welcomed if anyone feels inclined. 1851 census for Wells Next the Sea, Henry Wayte born Aldborough Norfolk age 74 (. Schedule no 118 Piece 1826 Folio 665 page 25) His occupation is tidewater sailor ? Am I reading that correctly? This is not a term I am familiar with despite lots of days spent on Wells beach. From google " tidewater" appears to be used in the USA for the area affected by the tides and is also used for small boats. Henry was an army pensioner on the 41 so is this someone supplementing income with some dab fishing in the creeks or cockle fishing or is the second word not sailor but something else ? Thanks in anticipation Rosie
