    1. [NFK] remembering Thomas Watts POW
    2. KIM QUILTS
    3. Remembering Chief Petty Officer Thomas WilliamWatts son of William Thomas and Charlotte (nee Cousins) Watts. Thomas was born in Portsmouth. I have a newspaper clipping from our family papers announcing that Thomas' wife had been notified that he died as a POW, age 46. He was a prisoner of war in Japan. Died 30 Nov 1942. He is buried in the Yokohama war cemetery. Our Watts family are from Norfolk, mostly Norwich. I have not been able to connect Thomas to our family. I realize that it may be a coincidence that we have this clipping, perhaps it is a family friend that happens to have the same very common name. Anyone know of Norfolk connections? Thanks, Kim
