Bill Atkins Bill There is a British Army WW1 Medal Rolls Index Card which reads Baines William E. NORF R. 18446 LAB. CORPS 207760 Awarded the three usual campaign medals. Theater of War - France. His transfer to the Labour Corps is interesting. There is more information here http://www.1914-1918.net/labour.htm. Unfortunately, none of his enlistment or service record papers seem to have survived the Blitz. Richard Spink
