In time, similar messages will automatically get routed into your Trash folder. Blocking the Senders address is not really useful for a hacked-sender, because the sender is probably a valid member of the list in the first place and would, in all likelihood, be upset that this has happened to them. Reporting the sender to your ISP as a Spammer is not a good idea. There are too many unforeseen consequences of doing so. This is how Rootsweb suddenly goes quiet for a few days. So... just mark the messages as spam and ignore them. Don't repeat any embedded urls if you must ask about the message contents. Avoid HTML if you can when viewing messages, and never, ever click on any link. Messages on lists like this one generally have some sort of genealogical content and off-topic messages are thus very easy to spot. Just ignore them. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg
ok Thanks Mike. I did delete and trash immediately. I didn't think that maybe the sender was legit, just assumed that they were the perpetrator.
