    3. The Diss registers are available on line - on one of the LDS websites. You can find them at familysearch.org The burial is on page 31 of the Diss PRs and the baptism on page 30. You need to look at the records for the years 1691-1729 Baps, Mars and Burials. It is wonderful to be able to see the actual entries on line now, rather than going to your nearest LDS Family History centre and renting the relevant film - which I have been doing for the past few years.     3. Thank you to every one who replied with information regarding my plea for help, they did indeed confirm that John LAYMAN was dead and buried on 31st Aug 1710 Unfortunately it ends a promising lead in solving a brick wall regarding the parents of my 6th Great Grandfather John LAYMAN. Dave.
