Hi Just wondering if anyone is able to help me find the baptism of Georgina/Georgiana Soanes who was born in 1866. All I know is that her father was George Henry Soanes, a mariner and ships engineer. The family later moved to London where in 1875 George remarried . In 1871 Georgina is staying in Great Yarmouth with her younger sister Eliza at the house of Peter and Charlotte Fitt (?). There is no sign of their father who must have been at sea or their mother who was probably deceased. Many thanks Jackie

FreeREG has the marriage of George Henry SOANES in Yarmouth in September qtr 1863 to either Jane Eliza WACEY or Rebecca HANNANT (4b 21). The marriage of Peter Cubitt FITT and Charlotte BONE was in Yarmouth in June qtr 1871 (4b 28) - they may turn out to be related in some way after you do more research.
