You would be better going to Ipswich I think for Bungay and Beccles records. Historically Suffolk was split into 3 segments and B St E did the west, Lowestoft did the north east, and Ipswich the rest. I think Bungay has original registers kept at Ipswich and I think eccles probably does too - although they may be at Lowestoft. At all three places there are duplicate microfiche, but not much other collateral material for parishes out of their area (eg marraige licenses or wills). Best check with the relevant office before you go. Loddon is less likely to go to Suffolk than Gillingham. As for the FreeREG database - it is probably about 2/3 complete for the images held by LDS and also a few other parishes that are not included in the LDS images (eg Mulbarton). By contrast there is very little currently available on freereg for Suffolk, although the Lowestoft area is better represented. It is very variable from county to county depending on access to data.
