    3. Hi Elizabeth I don't have access to census other than NFK 1851 onwards so was unable to find the 1841 Robert which you did. I had the 1851 entry only. The bap in 1828 was a response to Janice's original mail which where she writes:- "I* am hoping a Lister may have details of John Thomas WALPOLE'S grandfather Robert WALPOLE'S parents. Robert was born circa 1829 in Walpole, Norfolk." * as it seemed to fit well. Being FSearch it will obviously have to be checked with original registers. I wonder where Janice's info came from. 3. Hi Jean , I found the marriage in freebmd first and then moved onto the 1861 census to find the family and then went back to the 1841 to see if I could find Robert b c 1830 in Walpole or close by . And yes I would be pretty happy that 12 yr old Robert living as a FS in a farming household . That would be the sort of apprentice the parish guardians might put out . And I would guess from Australia , Janice`s original information will have come from family sources and their BMD in Oz . life is hard . soften it with a cat \\\=^..^=/// ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jean Greenwood" <jeangreenwood@virginmedia.com> To: <norfolk@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, December 03, 2011 2:26 PM Subject: Re: [NFK] WALPOLES OF NORFOLK > Hi Elizabeth > > I don't have access to census other than NFK 1851 onwards so was unable to > find > the 1841 Robert which you did.
