Good morning Listers, On this lovely sunny Sunday morning Down Under, I have woken to wonderful postings from the List, with regards to my enquiry about the WALPOLES. As you are aware I am trying to work back to see if my niece's branch of the WALPOLE family can claim a connection back to Sir Robert WALPOLE. There are so many replies it will take me some time to go through them all. However, I wish to thank everyone who has searched through data to come up with some answers and suggestions to my questions. I am limited to what I have on hand to help me to research the family over the Pond. However, I have mostly used the English Census and also research CDs I have on hand and also what is on line for the Australian part of the story. Once I find John Thomas WALPOLE'S grandfather Robert's parents, then I maybe able to move further back to the next generation getting closer to Sir Robert.
