    3. Christopher I have the book "Norfolk & Norwich Clocks & Clockmakers" pub Phillimore 1996. The entries are as follows: BRIGGS Edward NORWICH St Peter's Street 1864 (White). Edward Hugh Briggs, 12 Bridewell Alley 1888-1890 (Kelly) and at Cromer. BRIGGS James CROMER Established 1820 and still in business in 1972, "Briggs Jas J Ltd Jwlr, 38 Church St, Cromer 512379" (GPO Dir 1972). I'm not sure that the entries tell you anything you didn't already know.
