Hi Donna (and Bruce, of course), I intersect with both the KETTERINGHAM and BAILEY families, although not that recently. My grand aunt, Elizabeth REEDER, married Frederick KETTERINGHAM in the 3rd Qtr of 1889, probably in Great Ellingham. He was a house painter, and they moved around Norfolk spending time in Great Ellingham, Heigham, Norwich, Cranworth, Shipdham and by 1911 were at Wramplingham on the Wymondham Road where he was a Journeyman Miller as well as House Painter. Elizabeth died in 1951 in the North Walsham Registration District. Elizabeth was born in 1871 to James Thompson REEDER and Elizabeth BARNARD at Great Ellingham. My nana, Sarah REEDER, was about 2 years younger than Elizabeth. In the 1911 census Elizabeth and Frederick had 10 children, 8 still living: Frederick James b. 1890 Maud Elizabeth b. 1892 Eva Mildred b. 1894 Donald John b. 1895 Hilda Mary b. 1898 Bessie Violet b. 1900 Sidney Frank b. 1903 Routh Evelyn b. 1907 There are at least 2 other children who were born and died in between the census. I haven't followed up much on this part of the family and only have the bare essentials. Hello Rosemary, Donna and Bruce: Some years ago I found quite a few KETTERINGHAM/KITTERINGHAM people in one of the village parish registers I was working on and I copied them out and posted them on one of the mailing lists - think it was Norfolk. Have you gone to the archive to see if any of your names have been posted already? As soon as I can get upstairs - the way is barricaded at present - I'll look in my big binders for the postings. If I don't get back to you within the next month, please give me a 'heads up' Happy New Year - Carol northwestern Washington State On 12/29/11, Rosemary Jones <rjones5622@gmail.com> wrote: > Hi Donna (and Bruce, of course), > > I intersect with both the KETTERINGHAM and BAILEY families, although not > that recently. > > My grand aunt, Elizabeth REEDER, married Frederick KETTERINGHAM in the 3rd > Qtr of 1889, probably in Great Ellingham.
