Here I am doing all this stuff for people with "roots" in Marin County, and then I don't "think" for myself. OH, dear! Getting old can be a real pain in the rear! Arleen passed peacefully at her home with her family at her side. Arleen was born on June 2, 1909 in Nashville, Tennesse, to Sarah Haynes and C.S. Tyree. She was married to Glenn Harrison Lutes on December 3, 1927 in Las Vegas, NV. Arleen was always very active with her family. She was committed to her children and their families who she loved deeply. She will be remembered by all the family for her wonderful laugh, her 'grand' comments, and special moments that each of them had. She also enjoyed camping with her family and many friends. She and Glenn were very active in a number of Camping Clubs. Other interests were crafts, cards and all types of games. She was preceded in death by her brother, parents, and husband. Arleen is survived by her daughter, Donna Ball and husband, Phil; his son Art Lutes and wife, Sherry. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, eleven great- grandchildren, five great-great- grandchildren, and one great-great- great-grandchild.
