ROBBERY~ On last Sunday night, the sluicing ditch in the claim of BOORD, CARN & LOVE, on the West side of Weaver Creek, was washe down, and cleaned up by thieves. It is thought the robbers got between $1, 000 and $1,500 in dust & nuggets. Believed to have been committed by white men. WARNING: Miners cannot watch their claims too carefully now, and we will just say to any claim robbing thieves prowling round, that they need never hope to reach the County Jail, if caught in the act. 2].
