Margie, Thank you! I don't know if you followed this tale all the way, but I also contacted the three people on Find A Grave who had put up pictures for this cemetery. It turned out that none of them had done it through photo requests, they just took random pictures and put them up, so none of them were involved in finding plot information. I loved your Connecticut story. I, too, have ancestors in/from Connecticut and have had some hilarious "dances" with various court clerks, town clerks, etc. A clerk in one county sent me to a clerk in a different county, and she actually told me to call the other clerk back and tell her she was wrong!!!! How funny is that? I ultimately did get my bones, I mean records . . . Where are you looking in CT? Can I help? Maybe we can re-enlist these clerks, if they are still speaking to one another! It is amazing how the 'rules' differ from cemetery to cemetery. The same for finding obits and burial information. My 'little' story relates to my Connecticut relative but is similar I have been referred to as a dog with a bone - I don't let go of my request for information until I get it. Sounds like you are this way too. GREAT. Margie
