Joan, So, are you asking if it's worth it to upgrade to FTM or are you considering another program? If you are considering another program, the most intuitive ones out there and that help you document your research the best are RootsMagic and Legacy Family Tree. They both have free versions that can be downloaded to your computer. I have used FTM, Legacy, RootsMagic, Genbox, and TMG, so I can make a fair comparison. I also looked at PAF and wasn't impressed. So, if you weren't looked for other software, never mind!
