I found some of my ancestors in California...but the town was small and so I just went through all 4 enumeration districts to find them. I found my mom in rural Virginia just by luck! Looked at the areas covered by the enumeration districts and clicked on the one I thought looked 'best'...my grandparents and my mom and her sibs were the first folks on the page...how lucky is that???
