If the family  was  there it will list (Hopefully. It did  mine) with a  street and address.  Enter  that  on the  archives  site . http://1940census.archives.gov/ State ,County, Town, Address, Street.  Then if its  a  long  street  see where the  #s  start   and  work up from there. Cuts  down  on a  lot of pages.
