I have read on another list that people have better luck downloading entire EDs and then viewing in your computer's image viewer - but you probably have to open up the zip file, unless your computer knows to do that automatically. I could not find a way to download the whole ED except by using Steve Morses's ED Finder, clicking on the ED number there (making sure Census Image has been ticked instead of ED Description), and then immediately clicking the Download button at the top of the page. Then you can choose All images that One page. That can be a lot faster during peak traffic times, but is not good for slow speed connections - the ED files I got were huge, almost 100 MB. Morse's ED finder also has a list of streets in the ED, I found that easier than using a map after asking a cousin what streets were near where she lived. http://stevemorse.org/census/unified.html You mentioned using your camera - another thing to try in such times would be the Print Screen button, I think you may then have to paste it into image editing software.
