Contra Costa County Historical Society has records of those interred in the cemeteries in the county.  They also maintain obituaries and old newspapers.  They don't have pictures of gravestones.  They may be able to help you locate a specific grave.    Their website is cocohistory .com If you will let me know the name of the person you are trying to locate, I can look for it on Wednesday.
