I looked at the Calavaras County website but I don't see an application for a death certificate. Should I order it from the County Clerk, the Count Archives, the library? I found a David Lowrie who may be my missing gr uncle. I think he was a miner in Calavaras County from about 1870 to 1900. I hope to find some identifying information on the death cert. I have so little information on him, only his census records and voter's registration. He didn't marry and didn't leave any newpaper aticles behind. He is just a name with a few facts.
