KINSMAN, San Francisco, Sept. 20th, 1875, by Rev. D. MATHEWSON; Mr. B.W. STONE, and Miss L.M. LATIMER, both of Alamo, in this county. DIED - PONS - At Pacheco, Sept. 18th, Peter PONS, a native of Spain, aged 48 years. DIED - MERITHEW - In San Francisco, Sept. 16th, Captain Richard S. MERITHEW, a native of Maine, aged 55y, 6m. Captain MERITHEW was for many years an officer or in command of the stemaers running to and from San Francisco, and touching regularly at Martinez, and was last in comman of the ‘T.C. Walker,’ until she was withdrawn from the route a few months since; he was consequently well, as he was favorably known to most of the people in our vicinity. BAND of HOPE - Following is the after ritual programme for the Band of Hope meeting tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock: Song, Francis DOWNEY Recitation, Annie EPSON Song, Miss CHASE Recitation, Johnnie McMAHON Song, Lillie BUCKLEY Reading, Miss DICKINSON Song, Maggie McMAHON Recitation, Willie GIFT Trio, Mrs. TITCOMB, Mrs. CORBERT and Mr. SWAIN Reading, Mattie COLE Song, Nora TOWNSEND PROBATE COURT - -In the matter of the guardianship of Emily J. McCLELLAN, minor child of J.C. McCLELLAN, deceased. Isaac YOAKUM, the newly appointed guardian of said minor, presented and filed a bond in the sum of $13,000, signed by 2 sufficient sureties; the bond was approved…the resignation of Lafayette DICKEY as guardian of said minor was accepted… -In the matter of the estate of Henry L. FARLAND, deceased. Stephen ARTHUR, the administrator of the estate, filed his final account for settlement… -In the same estate of Henry L. FARLAND, deceased. Stephen ARTHUR and Miles L. FARLAND and Sade E. ARTHUR, the sole heirs of the deceased, filed their petition praying for a distribution of the residue of the estate… -In the matter of the guardianship of William H. WOOD, Robert Newcom WOOD, Richard Cross WOOD, Lucetta WOOD, Ann Elizabeth WOOD, Frank G. WOOD, minor children of William WOOD, deceased. Benj. BOOMAN, the father in law of said children, the hearing of the petition was fixed for the 4th of October at 10 o’clock a.m. and notice was required to be given to the mother of said minors who has custody of them by citation to be personally served. -In the matter of the estate of Peter PONS, deceased.
