Dear Listers, Several years ago I received a note saying: Andrew Jacobson died in Kern Co., CA in the year 1907 I am looking for an Andrew Jacobson who was born in Norway July 30, 1887. He emigrated in 1903 to Stoughton, WI and still lived there in 1905. However, I understand he was taken ill and "went west" where he died prior to 1910! The Andrew Jacobson who died in Kern Co., CA in 1907, MAY very well be the person I am looking for. I notice there is an emigrant from Germany named Andrew C. Jacobsen listed in Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA both in 1900 and 1910 as well as in numerous Bakersfield city directories (see ancestry.com), but he has to be a different person! Can someone please give me some help to identify this Andrew Jacobson who died in 1907? Can he be the one I am looking for? Thanks a million in advance for your great assistance in this matter!
