    1. [NORCAL] SAN LORENZO
    2. San Lorenzo had many hot houses in the early 40's. I lived in a trailer park on Washington Ave just north of Lewelling on and off during WWII and the whole acreage across the street was filled with hot houses. There were others on Hesperian parallel to Washington. Probably there were some further south on Hesperian before David Bohannan built the first tract house in San Lorenzo Village in 1944 or 1945. I remember having to share the San Lorenzo elementary school by having double sessions with the Village people. The nursery could have been on Hesperian, closer to the Hayward Airport but I think was still considered San Lorenzo. I don't know if this is confusing or a help. Shirley Turner
